I have more than thirty years experience as a solicitor working solely in the area of family law.  I was admitted in 1986 after doing five years articles, having worked as a legal secretary before then.

I am a sole practitioner and you will have my full attention to your matter - not delegating it to somebody you do not know.

I do not believe that being involved in court proceedings is always the appropriate way for everybody to have their problems solved, and I will work hard to resolve matters by negotiation, with or without the assistance of an accredited mediator.

I have a large town agency practice, appearing in court (sometimes on short notice) for solicitors from rural and regional areas.  This has helped me attain the ability to quickly identify problems and suggest practical, workable solutions.

I am not interested in inflating your costs - I don't have the time or the inclination to do that.  You will find that my charges are very reasonable and I am always happy to discuss costs.  I am very aware that costs are sometimes beyond the reach of ordinary people, and if there is a practical way of using a fixed fee arrangement, I will do so.

I am a Preferred Supplier for Legal Aid Queensland and if you are eligible to apply for legal aid am happy to do so on your behalf and if you are successful I will act on your behalf in accordance with Legal Aid guidelines.
